  1. This country has such a barbaric reputation according to the American propaganda news media. I only thought to see who the people are after yesterday’s news regarding the mexican spring revolution (maybe). After realizing that everybody is not drug dealers and beheaders I may go to Mexico City on vacation, the well traveled may know this but this put in a box mentality is quite prevalent, thanks to the media, the travel warnings by the goverment etc. All of it is enough to scare you to death and stifle your natural curiosity about your neiighboring country. It reminds me of the perception it spews out in connection of its own citizens the African Amemerican community. I’m embarassed to say, I as an educated woman, allowed my self to believe that this country is un ihabital, let alone worth visiting. Every thing is portrayed as Tiawana whichI did visit while in california many, many yrs ago.Oh everybody dosn’t want to live America

    • I HAVE RELETIVES WHO HAVE LIVED ALL OF THEIR LIVES IN MEXICO. THEY ARE, IN FACT, MEXICAN NATIONALS. WHEN THEY TELL ME ABOUT THE NIGHTLY MURDERS AND DRIVE-BYS AND THE VERY TRUE CRIMINAL ACTIVITY OF THE POLICE IN MEXICO, I BELIEVE THEM. IF THEY ARE AFRAID, WHY AREN’T YOU?
